I already knew that Jen is an amazing photographer, having met her and seeing some of her work. A couple of years ago, I was playing with the idea of doing a glamour shoot, which was incredibly intimidating for me, considering that I am by no means a model. Jen is by nature very approachable, down to earth, easy to talk to and she was just as excited as me to do this shoot with me. There was a feeling of deep trust between us, which I think is critical for something like this. She created a mood board for poses and looks, to which I added some pictures as well. We chose two locations, one in her studio and the other in an absolutely beautiful building in Amsterdam. The days themselves were a great experience. Most of the time I dont want to be the center of attention, and at the lens end of a camera. With Jen, none of that mattered. I was completely at ease and told her stories as she took pictures. She captured me those days in ways I didn't even understand myself at the time.

I have always been of the opinion that talented photographers can make the ordinary look extraordinary. Jen is one of the few who can make this happen.
